About Sherrill
Company History
The company that would become Sherrill Pest Control was founded in 1950 by Horace Sherrill. In 1959, Mr. Sherrill moved his operation to middle Tennessee. Though the business grew in the following years, it remained a family-centered operation with Mr. Sherrill's four sons joining the business. The eldest son, Vernon Sherrill, bought the rights for the middle Tennessee area from his dad in 1975 and founded the present-day Sherrill Pest Control.
With the addition of Kevin Sherrill, Vernon's son, to the company's roster, the Sherrill family is proud to have included three generations of family in the business.
Goals
The goals of Sherrill Pest Control are:
- to be the best we can be at what we do
- to know how important each customer is
- to let the customer know that we feel this way
- to leave each customer smiling — then, and only then, will our true goals be reached

Industry Affiliations
Vernon Sherrill, his wife Cindy, and their son Kevin, have all served as President of the local Pest Control Association. Additionally, all have been on the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Pest Control Association. Vernon and Cindy have also served on the Executive Board of the Tennessee Pest Control Association.
